We offer and finance school trips from the Pre-School through Kindergarten. These trips are financed by Alpha Academy, so no additional fee is required. If any parent would like to come, we always welcome an additional chaperone, and we will pay for your entrance ticket.
No child is obliged to participate in any of these trips. Permission slips will be sent home prior to the trip. There will always be someone here at the school to care for the children who do not attend the school trips.
These trips begin in October. Weather permitting, our goal is to go on a trip each month. A few trips will be announced in the near future.
Highlights of include:
October:
We go Pumpkin Picking at Johnson's Farm, Medford. Look for detailed information and sign-up sheets for chaperones outside of each classroom. This trip is for the Pre-School, Pre-Primary and Kindergarten classes.
Fire Prevention Week - we will have the "fire squad" (in all their gear) come and give the children a presentation on fire safety. After the presentation, we take the children to the fire trucks and allow them to get onboard. The older children are permitted to sound the horn and pull the hose nozzle. The children absolutely love it, and many pictures are taken.
